Benefit is one of the largest make-up companies in the world, it located in Francisco and its products are sold in 30 countries.

Benefit is one of the subgroups of Louis Vuitton, which has more than 75 luxury brands.

The founders of Benefit Company are two Ford twin sisters who grew up in Indiana. These two sisters started working in advertising, modeling and hairdressing after university. After some time, they went to San Francisco and started their own business in 1976. In the same year, they established a boutique called the face place. Their first product was a blush and lip tint called rose tint, which was changed to benefit today. In fact, these two sisters made this rose color for a ballet dancer who needed a color for her body, and this brand became more known with this story, and this tint is one of their best-selling products until today.

In 1980, The Face Place moved to Kearny Street and the first product of the Ford sisters launched. This product was a lip plumper. Immediately in 1990, The Face Place changed its name to Benefit Cosmetics. In 1991, Benefit opened its first branch in Henry Bendel, which is one of the most famous and largest stores in New York.

With considerable success in the United States, Benefit went international in 1997 by expanding to Harrods in London. Immediately after that, the Benefit cosmetics website was launched. And on September 14, 1999, Louis Vuitton bought Benefit.

In 2001, benefit launched its first line of bath products under the name Bathina.
