In 1834, Eugene Rimmel left his country with his family and went to London. He and his father founded the mascara house in Hunan and produced the first harmless mascara that had a reasonable price and everyone could afford it.
Eugene died in 1890, but his name lives on as a pioneer of health products and cosmetics.
